Black Box Safety #13 on Vet100

As of last year, Black Box Safety, Inc. was featured as one of the fastest-growing private companies in the United States by Inc. Magazine. In 2023, the company was listed at 108th in the nation by the publication’s famous ranking system, the Inc. 5000. Hailed as America’s entrepreneurial benchmark, the magazine ranks American companies according to their percentage revenue growth over the most recent three-year period. Black Box Safety was one of the successful businesses to be part of the list but, also rated 13th on their featured Vet100 list.

The Vet100 is a space to highlight the fastest-growing private businesses in the United States owned by veterans. It was produced from the Inc. 5000 in partnership with the D’Aniello Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF), founded under Syracuse University to serving veterans and their families across the globe since 2011. With Black Box Safety’s founder having served two years in the Marine Corps, the company is qualified to be featured as part of the ranking.

This past week, Black Box Safety had the honor to attend the 2024 Veteran EDGE Conference. Held in Dallas, the event is where veteran and military founded businesses gather to learn, connect, and celebrate each other’s entrepreneurial endeavors.

As the 13th fastest-growing veteran-owned private business listed on the Vet100, Black Box Safety’s President Jackson J. Dalton, alongside his Vice President Griffin Forsyth, had the opportunity to commemorate the achievement in the Lone Star State.

“It is a surreal experience to see how far Black Box Safety has come as a business since it was founded in 2017,” said Dalton. “It is especially outstanding that we get to celebrate this moment alongside other amazing companies who are also owned by proud serving veterans. We’re incredibly proud of the work we have accomplished so far, and we are just getting started.”

In an article posted by the Small Business Administration titled “Facts About Small Business: Veteran Ownership Statistics,” it is reported that military veterans own about two billion businesses within the United States of America. They are estimated to earn $922.2 billion in sales annually with three million employees currently working in the industry, as reported by The United States Census Bureau.

With such hardworking and dedicated employees found at Black Box Safety, it was only a certain amount of time before the company was featured on the Vet100. As the business continues to strive in providing safety for all Americans in their respected work environments, the team is excited to see what success comes next.

Black Box Safety is incredibly thankful and honored to be featured on the Vet100 alongside its many fellow veteran-owned businesses.
