When a life is on the other side of a windshield or a locked door, the Good Dude BRB gives you a way in. It is a compact breach and rescue bar built from 420HC stainless steel, hardened to 50 to 51 HRC, that cuts laminated glass, breaks tempered glass, and pries doors.
Laminated glass, not just tempered
Most window punches only work on tempered side glass. Windshields, and the front side glass on some newer vehicles, are laminated: two layers of glass bonded to a plastic interlayer that a punch will crack but not open. The GlassRipper Profile™ is shaped to cut through that interlayer so you can open a windshield from outside. The BeakPuncture Tip™ on the other end shatters tempered side windows on contact.
Door breaching
Flip it and the flat pry profile works door jambs, interior doors, and light to medium barriers when carrying a full Halligan is not an option. Textured knurling holds in wet or gloved hands, and pre-drilled holes take a paracord wrap or a retention lanyard.
Carry
At 10.5 by 3.75 inches and 1.25 pounds, the BRB rides in a cargo pocket, on a MOLLE panel, on a duty belt, or in a glove box. Good Dude Concepts says the BRB was developed by active law enforcement officers and first responders, and the knurling, lanyard holes, and size all come from that.
