Grainger NASPO State of California Contract

As an authorized SB/DVBE Grainger Reseller in the Distributor Alliance Program, Black Box Safety, Inc. offers up to 1.5 million products to California State Employees at pre-negotiated pricing under LPA 7-18-51-02.18. State Employees can process quotes from Black Box Safety under 15 Categories without requiring competitive quotes. Leveraging the NASPO MRO contract enables state agencies to streamline procurement processes from a trusted SB/DVBE.

Since 2022, Black Box Safety has been a part of Grainger’s Distributor Alliance Program under NASPO Value Point contract for facilities, MRO, and industrial supplies. The NASPO Value Point contract is lead by the state of Oregon and provides major base discounts for states across the country for easy access to facilities, MRO, and industrial supplies.

In the state of California, LPA 7-18-51-02, Grainger has been awarded as a participating vendor. Grainger leverages Small Businesses and Disabled-Veteran Owned businesses to work with their team to provide these products to the state of California.

Under LPA 7-18-51-02.18, Black Box Safety is an authorized reseller of up to 1.5 million products of Grainger’s catalog items. This LPA enables California procurement teams to purchase items at pre-negotiated prices from Small Businesses and Disabled-Veteran Business Enterprises. Ultimately, this streamlines procurements processes and maximizes value to the state through access to Grainger’s supply chain.

The LPA is not limited to items listed in the Grainger catalog. Participating SB and DVBE’s can add items that fall within these categories under the “Sourcing Provision” in the LPA.
